drop-in lessons
For the ultimate in flexibility, just give us a call at (434) 293-4017 and set up a single lesson. To get the most out of your lesson, think ahead about what you’d like to learn. Be sure to take lots of notes, or bring a voice recorder to help you remember what you worked on. In general, we offer drop-in lessons only for students who have taken some lessons in the past – we definitely recommend that beginners start with at least a short session of lessons. But if you have a lot of experience with music and you want to try out a new instrument, a drop-in lesson could be a good fit. Make sure your teacher knows a little about your background and about what you’re hoping to learn. The price for a drop-in lesson is $60 for one hour. You can get a 5% discount by paying ahead for a package of 4 or more lessons. Schedule your lessons anytime; they're good for up to a year from the payment date. As a studio member, you'll get a 10% discount on most items at Charlottesville Music, good for 12 months. You'll also be eligible to participate in our regular recitals. Membership is required for regular lessons and music classes at the studio, so you'll be all set if you want to add more music to your schedule. We'll give you a couple of free gifts as well: a personalized music assignment folder, and a sampler CD of recordings by our instructors. |
